About More Than Words

More Than Words is a non-profit social enterprise that empowers youth in the foster-care system, court involved, homeless or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. We provide employment opportunities for young people ages 16-21 in the City of Boston and it's surrounding areas. Youth come to More Than Words and enter a 6-12 month program where they learn professional skills with their "business job", selling books online and in our local stores and get paid to move their lives forward with their "You" job, where they learn the essential life skills to have a successful transition into the workforce or higher education after their time with us.
