MONSTER PAWN was started in 2001 by long time Bloomington resident and pawn industry veteran Edwin Pierce, along with his wife, Kathy, and brother, Mark. By focusing on providing great deals and quality merchandise in a comfortable, relaxed and professional atmosphere, and relying on Ed's many years of experience, Monster Pawn has quickly grown to become downstate Illinois' most successful pawn shop. In 2004, the operation was expanded to include a sister buy-sell-trade store, MONSTER DEALS, as well as a second location in Normal, Illinois. A third location was added in 2011 in Springfield, Illinois. In addition, Monster Pawn supports three separate eBay stores, MONSTER-DEALS, MONSTER-DEALS-2 and MONSTER-DEALS-3, two AMAZON storefronts including this one, and a standard website at MONSTERPAWN.COM.
